Information we collect

We may collect your name, email, phone number, shipping and billing details, order history, account login details, newsletter signup data, contact messages, IP address, browser user agent, and website interaction details.

If you use the Forest Finder or floating AI helper, your question and the generated answer may be logged so the team can monitor quality and keep answers focused on Fiddlehead Heaven products and website information.

How we use information

We use customer information to process orders, calculate shipping and taxes, send order updates, manage accounts, respond to support requests, prevent misuse, improve the store, and send newsletter emails when you sign up.

We do not sell customer lists. Some information may be shared with service providers that help run the store, such as payment processors, shipping carriers, email platforms, hosting providers, analytics tools, or AI providers used for the website helper.

Payments and third-party services

Payment details may be handled by Helcim, Stripe, PayPal, e-transfer, or another enabled payment option. Fiddlehead Heaven does not store full card or bank account numbers in the website admin.

Newsletter details may sync to Mailchimp when enabled. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the email unsubscribe link or by contacting us.

Your choices

You can request help reviewing, correcting, or removing account, shipping, newsletter, or support information where legally and operationally possible.

Some order records may need to be kept for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, shipping, dispute, or legal reasons.

Optional Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use the shop and which products lead to completed purchases. This optional analytics tracking starts only after you accept analytics cookies. You can browse, contact us, and place orders without accepting.

With your consent, Google receives public page views, product and cart interactions, successful contact or newsletter signup events, and checkout-intent events. When an order associated with your consent is paid, our server can also send its transaction reference, products, quantities, currency, purchase value, tax, and shipping amounts. A recorded full refund can be reported against that purchase. Unpaid orders are not reported as purchases.

Analytics uses browser and session identifiers to connect these events. Google may also process technical information from your browser and connection. These identifiers are pseudonymous, not a promise of complete anonymity. Our analytics integration does not send customer names, email addresses, shipping addresses, message contents, or card and bank details. We disable advertising personalization and do not load the browser analytics tag on checkout, payment, account, or admin pages.

Our website sends explicitly configured events rather than using Google Analytics Enhanced Measurement to automatically collect interactions with forms, links, or other page elements.

To change your choice, select Analytics cookies in the website footer. Your website consent choice lasts up to 180 days. Withdrawing consent stops future analytics collection from this browser and prevents unsent purchase or refund events tied to that consent from being sent. It does not automatically delete data already received by Google. You can contact us with privacy questions or data requests.

Google processes analytics information under its own privacy policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy. Analytics is optional and separate from the order records we need to operate the store.
